Diamond Jubilee Stakes Form Tips for Black Caviar Royal Ascot Horse Racing Odds

The ‘Wonder from down Under’ Black Caviar's next start jumps off this Saturday in the northern hemisphere’s prestigious Diamond Jubilee Stakes at the Royal Ascot and with a victory she would move to twenty-two straight wins from the start of her career, thus adding to her modern-era record for consecutive metro victories.

To celebrate this historic racing occasion Punters Paradise is providing a Diamond Jubilee Stakes betting guide with form tips, top odds, a detailed Black Caviar profile, exclusive bookmaker bonuses, and interactive Royal Ascot tips forum and more.

Diamond Jubilee Stakes

The Diamond Jubilee Stakes, previously named the Golden Jubilee Stakes, was re-named in honour of the Queen’s Royal Diamond Jubilee and the timing couldn’t have been any better.

The 2012 Diamond Jubilee Stakes, also the fifth leg of the Global Sprint Challenge, will be hosting the ‘Black Flash’- the world’s highest rated (136) mare Black Caviar.

In addition to holding the equal best-ever Timeform rating for a mare, Black Caviar is unbeaten in all twenty-one of her career starts, including eleven at Group One level.

A streak she seeks to continue in her next start, the Group One Diamond Jubilee Stakes during Royal Ascot week.

The Diamond Jubilee Stakes, held Saturday the 23rd of June at 3:45 UK time, which is 12:45am Sunday Sydney time, is expected to attract a record-setting crowd including the Queen herself.

A 1200 metre Group One event for gallopers three years-old and up, the Diamond Jubilee Stakes offers prize money totaling £500,000 ($787,000 AUD).

Diamond Jubilee Stakes Odds

The Peter Moody trained Black Caviar enters as the dominant Diamond Jubilee Stakes odds favourite, currently priced to win in the $1.20 range, which reflects the belief she has an eighty-five percent chance of winning.

Black Caviar’s odds are followed by Moonlight Cloud (GB) who’s coming off an impressive win in the Group Three Prix du Palais-Royal in early June, priced in the $9.00 range, with last year’s Jubilee Stakes winner Society Rock (IRE) rounding out the top three priced at $13.00.

With a victory in the Diamond Jubilee Stakes, Black Caviar would claim twelve Group One victories, just two short of the great Kingston Town which owns the Australian record of fourteen.
