Imported Australian racing sensation So You Think's next start has yet to be firmed but information gathered from his trainer Aidan O’Brien has indicated interest in the Juddmonte International Stakes. This coming up after So You Think was removed from the King George VI and Queen Elizabeth Stakes in July.
During So You Think's next race he's seeking his second consecutive European Group 1 win after putting together a cracker of a run against European star Workforce in the Group One Coral Eclipse Stakes on July 2nd. A race Workforce led going into the last 100 metres before being chased down and caught close to the post by So You Think.
Juddmonte International Stakes and Other Possible Races
The 2011 Juddmonte International Stakes is a Group One race for horses three years old and up run over a distance of 1 mile and 2 furlongs (2,092 metres) held at the York race course in Great Britain. Scheduled to jump off on Wednesday the 17th of August it offers prize money worth £600,000 ($911,000 AUD) and as such it tends to attract the top stayers in Europe.
Under this scenario it's quite possible So You Think and Workforce will continue part two of their dual, joined by the likes of the highest rated horse in Europe, star stayer Frankel, who's running in the Sussex Stakes in July.
Aidan O'Brien has also mentioned running So You Think in the 2011 Cox Plate back in Australia to attempt a three-peat, or taking aim at the 2011 Prix de l'Arc de Triomphe in Paris. Both events take place in October. The Breeders Cup, held in the USA during November, has also been thrown into the mix. The Breeders Cup is the richest prize money event in sports.

So You Think was equally impressive against sturdier competition in the £210,000 ($320,000 AU dollars) Group 1 Tattersalls Gold Cup at the Curragh on the 22nd of May winning by 4.5 lengths but lost when chased down from behind by Rewilding in the Group One Prince of Wales's Stakes during the Royal Ascot.
A defeat Aidan O'Brien was able to adjust to and overcome with So You Think's June victory in the £400,000 ($620,000 AUD) Coral Eclipse Stakes.
